Dignity Seniors Society
Chris Cartwright (he/him) holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He works as a software engineer in the health technology sector, where he is passionate about developing solutions that improve health outcomes and access to care.
Chris first became involved with Dignity Seniors Society through the evaluation of the We Are Familee program, during which he met many of the participants and volunteers. Seeing the program’s profound impact on fostering connection and community inspired him to contribute further as a member of the Board. He values the opportunity to build intergenerational connections and to learn from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community members who have led the way in creating safer, more inclusive spaces.
Outside of work, Chris is an avid triathlete who competes in long-distance races and volunteers as a coach for Special Olympics athletes in track and field, running, and swimming. His interests lie at the intersection of health, technology, and community well-being.
