Trans Care BC - Vision for care for trans persons in BC
In this video health care providers can learn about how we can all work together to create an equitable healthcare system that works for all. Some key points:
We need improved access to: hormone therapy, surgeries and after care, and access to Trans healthcare services closer to home.
We need education and information for service providers.
Quality of service provision is improved by having trans-identified peers to help/navigate systems.
